Muqsiṭ b. Zuhayr b. Ḥarth al-Taghlibī (Arabic: مُقسِط بن زُهَیر بن حَرث التَغلِبی) was a companion of Imam Ali (a). He attended the three battles of Jamal, Siffin, and Nahrawan. He was also a member of Imam al-Hasan's (a) military forces in Kufa.
When Imam al-Husayn (a) entered Karbala, he and his brothers, Kurdus and Qasit, joined the Imam's (a) army overnight. He was martyred on the Day of 'Ashura. It is said that he was one of the Martyrs of Karbala in the first attack of 'Umar b. Sa'd's army.
In Ziyarah al-Shuhada', his two brothers are mentioned: "peace be upon Qasit and Kurdus the sons of Zuhayr al-Taghlibi", but Muqsit is not mentioned.
