Tuḥfat al-aḥbāb fi nawādir Āthār al-aṣḥāb is a book in rijal in Persian written by Shaykh 'Abbas Qummi. He wrote this book in 1331/1913 in Qom. In this book, he gave a brief biography of the famous companions of the Prophet (s) and Imams (a) and a group of the representatives, scholars and caliphs.

'Abbas b. Muhammad Rida Qummi (b.1294/1877 – d.1359/1940) known as Shaykh 'Abbas Qummi and Muhaddith Qummi was a scholar of 14th/20th century. He was a hadith scholar, historian and orator. Mafatih al-jinan, Safinat al-bihar and Muntaha al-amal are among his most famous works. Muhaddith Qummi passed away in 1359/1940 and was buried in the shrine of Imam Ali (a).
Date of Writing
In the introduction of the work, the author introduces this treatise a short work in biography of the famous companions of the Prophet (s) and Imams (a) which he has collected from authentic sources and tried to write it in a perfectly concise and definite manner. Qummi mentioned that he also mentioned some of the famous hypocrites and dissidents as well in alphabetical order. He also included the biographies of the transmitters of hadith and scholars of different Islamic schools including Shi'a, Sunni, Zaydi, Fatahi, Waqifids, Nawusi, etc. in alphabetical order and also quoted wise sayings.
Manuscript and Prints
The manuscript of this work written by Muhammad b. Mahmud Husayni is available in the library of the Iranian Majlis. The date of its writing was Jumada II 17th, 1332/1914. This book was researched by Ja'far Husayni, Muhammad Akhundi and Ali Muhaddith Zadeh and published by Dar al-Kutub al-Islamiyya in 1990 and 1991 in Tehran.
